Their sturdy bike rack design, was one of ten finalists in the competition hosted by Sydney’s Powerhouse Museum and the New South Wales Roads and Traffic Authority.

The competition was open to designers Australia-wide. The winning bike rack design had to be a beautiful piece of street art - long lasting, easy to use and functional. Quale, a humourous tree-like design, by Chris Smith and Toby McInnes, was voted the People’s Choice favourite. Jones Chijoff received $10 000 in cash for their efforts. Derailled and Quale will be installed at selected locations in the Western River Cities of Parramatta, Liverpool and Penrith – near Sydney.
