Hundreds of designers and design teams collected their hard earned red dot trophies on stage for 2011.

Grohe won the coveted design team of the year award.

Lead designer, Paul Flowers and the Grohe design team also celebrated on stage at Essen’s Aalto-Theatre, in front of a packed audience.

Designers and manufacturers celebrated after the awards presentation at the historic red dot design museum – in the old colliery, Zeche Zollverein.

This year there were 4433 entries to the red dot product design awards competition.

Almost eighty per cent of all submitted products didn’t make it to the winning post - making a win at the red dot awards night, even more sought after.
